Mani Ratnam is back with a huge bang with the film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. He directed and produced this film fared too good at the box office. This movie also has given a thumping answer to his critics, it was a much need breakthrough for this classic filmmakers. It was a multi-starrer Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Jyothika who enacted every role beautifully played key roles in the success of the film.
Post 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' he is currently working on the adaptation of Ponniyin Selvan of Kalki. This movie also studded with big stars considered to be another huge multistarrer. Also as a producer, he is quite busy with a subject directed by Dhanasekaran his protege.
As per the latest news, this new Venture produced by Mani Ratnam titled Vaanam Kottatum. Vikram Prabhu and Aishwarya Rajesh bags the roles to play under Mani Ratnam's production. They will be seen in brother and sister roles. Also setting the stage for real-life partners Radhika and Sarath Kumar to share screen space with this movie. This movie shooting will kick start from July in Chennai and Madurai.
