Selvaraghavan is one of the most versatile directors of the Tamil film industry. He is the master who made modern-day classics like Pudhupettai (Dhoolpet), 7/G Rainbow Colony (7/G Brundavan Colony), Aayirathil Oruvan (Yuganiki Okkadu) and Aaduvari Matalaku Ardhale Verule. Of late, he has not been scoring hits at the box office and slowly, his success graph is coming down.
Selva also takes a huge gap between each of his films, which makes his fans wait for a long time to watch his films. His last film was NGK, starring Suriya, Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Despite having a stellar cast and a renowned director, the film failed miserably at the box office.
The director is yet to announce his next project. He is currently working on the script but it seems like he is in a writer's block now. The other day, he tweeted, "Suffering from writing!"
Maybe, Selva is planning to strike back hard with a solid script this time by taking no chances. Thus, he is taking the time to write the script. Hopefully, he finishes it fast and announces the details of his next film. We can expect an announcement from him very soon.
