Nikhil Kumar signs a new film with director AP Arjun; got titled as Ashwarangam

Nikhil Kumar Gowda made a grand entry into films with the 2016 Kannada-Telugu bilingual film Jaguar. Directed by Mahadev, this film turned out to be a flop at the box office an gave a disappointing start to Nikhil's career. After that, he acted in a couple of other Kannada films like Seetharama Kalyana and Kurukshetra. Currently, he is working on an untitled film under the direction of S. Krishna. Meanwhile, Nikhil also signed another project with director AP Arjun. Apparently, this film got titled Ashwarangam.

According to the reports, Ashwarangam will go on floors this summer. Nikhil is getting married this April. Thus, the film will begin in May and will get finished in a straight schedule of 90 days. Nikhil Kumar will be bankrolling the film under his own banner NK Entertainments. This will be the maiden project of his home banner. More details on the rest of the cast and crew will get announced soon. Nikhil got recently engaged to Revathi who is the grand-niece of popular politician M. Krishnappa. The engagement happened in last December. Meanwhile, Nikhil also contested in the last year's parliamentary elections from Madya constituency but lost in the hand of senior actress Sumalatha.
