Nivetha Pethuraj has made a mark for herself in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. Though she enjoys a celebrity status off-screen, her latest Instagram post suggests that she undergoes the same problem that every person who relies on an online food delivery app undergoes. She recently found cockroaches in her food, which was ordered on the Swiggy app.
Taking to Instagram stories, Nivetha Pethuraj wrote, "I have no idea what standards @swiggyindia and the restaurants nowadays are maintaining. I found cockroaches twice lately in my food. I'm gonna attack pic in the next slide. It's very vital to inspect these restaurants regularly and fine them heavily if not up to standards. For now, I request for you all to kindly report this restaurant so a hefty fine or cleanliness check is done. "Moonlight takeaway OMR" thank you. @swiggyindia now that you guys have taken over delivery or the entire nation. Maintain some strict standards on which restaurants you choose to be listed in your app. Put your f**king customers before listing restaurants that cook cockroaches. And from the messages, I'm receiving this not the first time the restaurant added cockroaches to their food. How can the restaurant be so reckless? Requesting @swiggindia to remove this restaurant from the app (sic)."
