Last week was a momentous for the Indian film industry as Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Indian National Museum in Mumbai. It is a great achievement having a museum solely dedicated to cinema.
However, it says that Telugu movie buffs are a bit disappointed with the non-inclusion of certain heroes and path-breaking films. At the hall of fame of Superstars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s name were present but no one could spot Chiranjeevi’s name.
While the names of ANR, NTR, and Krishna were present, Chiranjeevi’s name was left out. It is safe to say that he was the bridge in connecting the old and new generation of Telugu audience.
While talking about films that were pioneers in visual effects, Robo and Ra One were all there. Many fans pointed out that Magadheera and Baahubali received applause for visual effects but they didn’t have any place in the museum.
Also, there were posters of iconic Telugu films such as Mayabazar, Andala Ramudu, Devadasu, Sankarabharanam, and Prasantham put up at the museum.
