NTRBiopic is becoming a joke now - makers decided to screen it for free
After tasting a disaster with 'NTR Kathanayakudu' which is released as the first part in the series, the production house has faced another flop with the second part-'NTR Mahanayakudu'. This has left a mark in both the careers of Balakrishna and Krish who bankrolled and helmed the movie respectively.
Bad marketing strategies, sloppy narration, release date and few other factors gave the producers miserable results. Both the parts of the movie didn’t satisfy either Nandamuri fans or the critics. The picture was in the eyes of media right from the announcement stage and has raised the speculation for both NTR and Balakrishna fans as it is the first bio of the legendary actor-politician.
The movie has again hit the headlines with the makers' decision to screen it free for the DWCRA Women all over the State. This is not great decision made by the filmmakers. Though the step taken will not bring revenue for the producers, this will no doubt bring publicity to the movie but definitely not in a good way. Now, the messages about free shows and MLAs, district leaders asking for TDP cadre to watch the movie, free of cost, is still degrading the legendary actor and his name.
Will this help TDP and CBN? We don’t think so, these messages and free shows are just degrading the image of TDP and mainly, NTR for future generations. He definitely, didn't deserve this!!
In support to the distributors and exhibitors who incurred losses with the first part ‘NTR Kathanayakudu’, the producers have taken a decision to give the rights of the next part to the same ones. But the question is how will the producers help the distributors now who are in losses with the second part also.
