Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio appeared in their first film together with Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Since then the friendship between them became hard to miss.
The film was nominated for many awards including the Oscars. Appearing at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Pitt revealed that DiCaprio even has a pet name for him. At the red carpet of the award show, Pitt spoke to People TV and revealed, "Lover. He calls me Lover. It's a bit confusing, but I roll with it."
While receiving a Golden Globe Award, Brad Pitt expressed his respect for Leonardo DiCaprio. Joking about DiCaprio’s classic hit film Titanic, Pitt stated that he would make room for him on the raft, unlike Rose (Kate Winslet’s character). “He's an all-star, he's agent, and I wouldn't be here without you, man. I thank you. Still, I would've shared the raft,” Pitt had said.
Sources reveal that since the two began working together, Pitt and DiCaprio have become close friends off-screen as well. The two reportedly often spend time together sharing their love for pottery. A source also claimed that the two once spent time together with Pitt’s other friends who enjoy pottery.
Brad Pitt bagged the award Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. His co-star Margot Robbie accepted the award on his behalf since he could not be present.
