The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has not only baffled the entire country but also taught us the importance of mental health. We live in a society where mental health is often considered a taboo. People who are going through it, feel shy to let out their pain. Sushant was an introvert and a socially-awkward person who always struggled to let out his fears. He had no one to share his problems with. Eventually, he had chosen to leave this world forever. After the news broke out, people started talking about mental health. Recently, noted actress Payal Ghosh, who acted in films like Oosaravelli and Parayanam, said that she is suffering from depression.
Last night, Payal Ghosh took on Twitter to explain her mental state. She said that she has suicidal thoughts every now and then. She also added that she rushes to the hospital when she suffers panic attacks. "I’m suffering from depression since 2015. I’m on& off on medicines. Though my problem is the Fear of Death, I get panic attacks, where I feel, I’m gonna die, I keep rushing 2 Kokilaben when I get these attacks. Luckily I have my family, friends who take all my nonsense but don’t judge me. #Mentalhealth," her tweet read.
Payal made her Indian film debut with the 2008 movie Prayanam. She later acted in many films like Varshadhaare, Oosaravelli, Mr. Rascal, Therodam Veedhiyile and Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi.
