It has been such an exciting period for all the movie lovers across our country as many as 28 films were enlisted to enter Oscars 2020 from India and only one film made its way to the grand stage. Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has been announced as India's official entry for Oscars 2020.
 
Bollywood celebrities took to social media to celebrate Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy entry to Academy Awards. Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Dia Mirza and Hrithik Roshan among other celebrities took to social media to celebrate Gully Boy's entry to Oscars 2020.
 
After 'Gully Boy' was declared as India's official entry in the Best International Feature Film category at Oscars 2020, Ranveer Singh on Twitter congratulated the film's cast and crew, and wrote, "Apna Time Aayega". He further thanked the Film Federation of India and members of the jury. "Well done...get the gold statue home," Karan Johar tweeted while congratulating the team.
 
 
The film, co-starring Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Siddhant Chaturvedi in lead roles, premiered at Berlin International Film Festival. After its release in theatres in February, the social media was flooded with positive reviews for the film.
