Unit of Panchatantra currently on a high note with the super success of the movie, movie now entering into the third week. The audience had really loved the movie currently featuring in 80 theatres in Karnataka. With the stupendous hit at the box office as per the makers, Panchatantra sequel seems to be on. Makers want to outreach the first part in cast and making. Hence the second part will be on a bigger scale than the former. The sequel will be directed by Yograj Bhat, this part will be a trilingual and simultaneously released in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
The sequel will also be bankrolled by Hariprasad Jayana and Hemanth Paradkar. Yograj Bhat and producers Hariprasad Jayana and Hemanth Paradkar will also collaborate for Gaaliapata 2 and a project with Shiva Rajkumar apart from Panchatantra sequel.
It was said that plans on making Panchatantra part 2 were only made a few days back. While starting the first part we never had any intention of making the sequel. As the makers say that even in the second part we love to keep hold of race theme. The scripting will process very soon, the sequel will have universal appeal so that rather than we restricting ourselves we would love to connect with a larger audience.
Vihan and Sonal Monterio played the main leads in Panchatantra. Arjun Janya scored the music and Dop by Sugnan. Another interesting aspect is that makers want to cast a noted personality who is very popular in all three languages. Official details very soon.
