Pailwaan - Sudeep birthday treat for fans

Director S Krishna’s upcoming directorial, Pailwaan, which stars Sudeep is currently in the post-production phase. The team behind the film is targeting a worldwide release in about 2,500 theatres and in five languages and have decided to move the release to a later date from August 8 to August 29. Given that September 2 is the star's birthday as well as a holiday (Ganesh Chaturthi), the team felt that this would not just be a treat for fans but also a prudent production decision. Official confirmation of this end is awaited from the makers and Sudeep.

Director Krishna, who also doubles as the producer for the film, has made Pailwaan under RRR Motion Pictures banner. The film will be released in five languages, and the Telugu version has already been bagged by Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram. The team is also close to finalizing the deal with the distributors in other states. Meanwhile, a mega audio launch is being planned, the date for which will be announced soon. Pailwaan movie music is composed by Arjun Janya and Karunakara as the cameraman. It also marks the debut of a heroine, Akanksha Singh and Bollywood actors Suniel Shetty and Sushant Singh.
