The highly anticipated trailer for Panipat starring Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Kriti Sanon among others has finally dropped on the evening of November 5. Directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, the film bases on the third battle of Panipat.
The trailer bears a strong resemblance to the director's earlier films like Jodha Akbar & Bajirao Mastani. The trailer begins with a large battalion of soldiers lined up for war and the roar of 'Har Har Mahadev.' Arjun Kapoor acts as Sadashiv Rao Bhau along with Kriti Sanon who is playing the role of his wife-Parvati Bai. Sanjay Dutt who is the villain of the film is playing Ahmad Shah Abdali.
The trailer focuses on the rivalry between the two. We can hear Kriti Sanon talking about the Marathas in the film when she says, "Marathas are those warriors of India for whom their duty and religion is bravery." On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt's character seems to be on the sole mission of destroying the Marathas.
