Pathaan Beats Dangal To Become Highest Grossing Hindi Film Of All Time

In a key race of the blockbusters, Shah Rukh Khan defeated Aamir Khan as his Pathaan surpassed Aamir Khan's Dangal as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. It has amassed 729 crores worldwide.

Having said that, Dangal's total worldwide collection is still oceans ahead at 2000 crore. It is largely thanks to its amazing run at the Chinese box office in 2017. Pathaan has only defeated Dangal in the Hindi version race. Dangal was also released in Mandarin in China, where it earned around 1200 crore. The film's creators, Yash Raj Films, as well as film trade analyst Ramesh Bala, tweeted the new data. A new poster with the latest collection stated that Pathaan had earned $88.92 million (roughly 730 crores) worldwide. Pathaan is a spy thriller that features Shah Rukh's titular Indian intelligence agent. He returns to duty to stop a terror assault on the Indian capital planned by the mercenary group, Outfit X, led by Jim (John). Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana both play important roles in the film. Pathaan is Shah Rukh's first major film release as a leading man in four years. It is the fourth film in Aditya Chopra's spy universe, following Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and Hrithik Roshan's War. Salman had a cameo appearance in Pathaan as Tiger.
