With every passing day, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan is proving that he is not merely a man with only words and is also standing by his statements. We have seen Pawan supporting many victims of various cases, in the past. His helping hand never went back on supporting the people in need.
Even though his party and himself faced a defeat in this year's elections, Pawan didn't step back from politics and is actively taking part in all the social activities. The actor turned politician stated that he is going to donate one crore rupees to the 'Kendriya Sainik Board,' for the welfare of the soldiers' families.
He tweeted, "I am donating Rs. 1 crore to the ‘Kendriya Sainik board’ for the welfare of our soldiers' families. I will personally handover the DD to the concerned authorities in Delhi. My heartfelt gratitude to ‘PM Modiji’ for reminding our responsibility towards our Nation#ArmedForcesFlagDay "
The Armed Forces Flag Day is usually celebrated on the 7th of December every year. This morning Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on the occasion and called every citizen to contribute towards the welfare of the soldiers. His tweet read, "On Armed Forces Flag Day we salute the indomitable courage of our forces and their families. I also urge you to contribute to the welfare of our forces."
