A few months ago, we heard that there is a film which is being made on the life of popular thief Tiger Nageshwara Rao. It was reported that Bellamkonda Sreenivas is the lead in this film and Vamshi Krishna is directing it. Later, we heard that the film got shelved. After that, sources claimed that Rana will be playing the lead role in the film. Even that was not materialized.
Eventually, the project has fallen into the hands of director Krish and he is now planning to make it with none other than Power Star Pawan Kalyan. Krish thought only a star like Pawan can do justice to the role of Nageshwara Rao. Apparently, he narrated the script to Pawan and the latter gave his nod as well. As the protagonist is a thief in the film, there will be a lot of guns and ammunition in the story. Pawan is fond of guns and we have seen that in his earlier films as well. That might be another reason for him to sign the film.
Meanwhile, Pawan is currently prepping up to shoot for his next film under the direction of Sriram Venu. This will be a remake of Hindi film Pink. He will start working on Krish's project after wrapping up the shoot of Pink remake.
