During an interaction with fans on the social media, director Tharun Bhascker who made his directorial debut with the successful movie Pelli Choopulu confirmed a movie on rooster fights which are quite popular in Andhra Pradesh during Sankranthi every year.
Young filmmaker Tharun Bhascker proved his talent right with his first film Pelli Choopulu and has also won a national award for it. He then scored a decent success with his second film Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi as well. Currently, Tharun is prepping up for the release of his Meeku Mathrame Chepta, in which he acted in a lead role.
Meanwhile, the director has confirmed that he will be starting his next directorial soon but didn’t confirm when it gets launched. During a Q and A session on Instagram recently, a fan asked Tharun whether he is making a film on rooster-fights (Kodi Pandalu)?
The director said, “Rasthuna... Rasthuna... Apulloni laga adagaku. Bhayamaithundi. (I’m writing. Don’t bug me like a money-lender)” This project will not be the immediate next film of Tharun as it is still in the working stages. He will mostly work on the Netflix film Lust Stories(Telugu) next.
