Director Krishna Vamshi took a long gap after Nakshatram and is now coming up with the film Ranagamarthanda. Starring Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan in the lead roles, the shooting of this movie started a few days ago and is currently happening in Hyderabad. Krishna Vamshi is posting regular updates from the sets every now and then.
A couple of days back, he posted a clip showing Prakash Raj doing set work with art assistants. This morning, he posted a picture of Prakash Raj and Brahmanandam and tweeted, "Philosophies discussing LIFE......lessons for us..." We can see both the actors are in a deep discussion.
Brahamanandam is playing the role of Prakash Raj's friend in the movie. This will be on a serious tone, rather than his regular comical characters. Rangamarthanda is an official remake of Marathi film, Natsamrat, starring Nana Patekar.
The Telugu version features Shivatmika Rajashekhar, Ali Reza and Rahul Sipligunj in the other important roles. The makers are planning to release the film in early 2020.
