Pisasu fame Kani Kusruti banished from several projects - as it required sexual favors
Actress Kani Kusruti who is known for vigorous roles in Malayalam movies and stirred with her mighty powerful roles in Tamil films like Pisasu, Burma and also received acclaims for her short film Maa ascends as a nubile mother.
Kani states that I am really passionate about acting. I always wanted to be an actress. She says that she had to avoid many Malayalam films as the film-makers demanded sexual favors. I was banished from several projects because it required sexual adjustments. The most outrageous thing was that the film-makers used to contact my mother and asked to persuade her.
Because of such ridiculous acts, she intended to quit the films and went back to the theatre, but she was not able to earn much. After the MeToo movement Women in Cinema Collective was originated, since then she is now feeling secure and shielded.
