Plagiarism complaint filed on Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil movie

Every year, we see plagiarism cases on big Tamil films and even this time; it got repeated as a writer filed a complaint on Vijay’s Bigil. Nandi Chinni Kumar, filmmaker, and writer based out in Hyderabad, filed a complaint in Telangana Writers Association stating that Bigil seems to have inspired by his script Slum Soccer.

The complaint got filed and the heads of the association will take a call after reviewing both the scripts. Chinni Kumar alleged that the soul and main plot of the film got lifted from his script. Even earlier this year, a writer called KP Selva filed a plagiarism case on Bigil, in Madras High Court.
After reviewing the script, the court gave a clean chit to Bigil’s director Atlee. We have to wait for the verdict in this new case. Bigil is all set to release on October 25th on the occasion of Diwali. Its Telugu dubbed version Whistle is also releasing on the same day.
