Ponniyin Selvan Will Hit OTT On November 4th

The historical drama "Ponniyin Selvan 1," Mani Ratnam's magnum work, was released in theatres in September. It got off to a monster start at the box office. The OTT release date for "Ponniyin Selvan 1" is now announced. The movie will have its digital release on November 4th. On Prime Video, they have updated the announcement that the movie will be available on Prime in 7 days. As most of the successful and well anticipated movies, Ponniyin Selvan also will be available on a rental basis for the firsy few days. It is because "Ponniyin Selvan 1" is still performing well at the box office.

It is important to note that the OTT rights for the two installments of "Ponniyin Selvan" were sold as a package for Rs 125 crores. Based on the novel by Kalki Krishnamoorthy, "Ponniyin Selvan 1" narrates the history of the Cholas. Jayam Ravi, Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Sarath Kumar are among the cast members. Ravivarman is in charge of the cinematography. AR Rahman composed the music for the film. According to reports, "Ponniyin Selvan 1" has earned more than Rs 480 crores worldwide, and it will likely soon break the 500 crore threshold. In Tamil Nadu, the USA, and several other countries, the historical drama has already earned more money than any previous Tamil film.
