Popular Kannada actor signs a Sherlock kind-of film

Ramesh Aravind is a popular Kannada actor who has also worked on various Tamil and Telugu films. The non-Kannada audience will know him for his roles in the films like Sathi Leelavathi, Little Soldiers and Panchatantram. He has acted in 100 films till now, his last one being the 2017 Kannada film Pushpaka Vimana. He is now making his 101st film under the direction of his prodigy, Akash Srivastava. This film got titled Shivaji Surathkal.
 
Shivaji Surathkal is a detective drama that goes on the lines of Sherlock Holmes. Akash said that his co-writer Abhinandan YR once told him an interesting storyline on a murder mystery. After that, they started developing it on the lines of Sherlock. Even Aravind was a part of the scripting. He used to give inputs to Akash and Abhinav, from the perspective of the audience. Thus, all three of them worked together on this story. Akash also added that once the shoot has started, Ramesh Aravind didn't indulge in any suggestions and gave the freedom to his director.
 
Shivaji Surathkal is the story of a detective who gets tasked to find the killer of a minster's son within 48 hours. More details on this murder mystery will be out soon.
