It is well known that ‘ Karthikeya 2’ was the biggest blockbuster for both actor Nikhil and director Chandoo Mondeti in their respective careers. Many people were astonished by the film's response and box-office statistics after it was launched as a little picture.
Many feel the film's Hindi version reception is owing to its producer Abhishek Agarwal's earlier film 'The Kashmir Files,' as well as Bollywood stars Vivek Agnihotri and Anupam Kher's tweets regarding the film.
Not only that, but the film is giving Bollywood heavyweights in Mumbai, such as 'Laal Singh Chaddha' and 'Raksha Bandhan', a run for their money.
