Young Rebel Star Prabhas has experienced a low-phase once having multiple below average films. The actor couldn't manage to get decent box-office numbers, until 'Mr. Perfect' happened. Until this film, Prabhas didn't have any hit. The previous film 'Darling' was just a mediocre performer at the box-office with an average reception. But, Mr.Perfect changed the market dynamics of the actor at the box-office.
Produced by the ace producer 'Dil' Raju under 'Sri Venkateswara Creations' banner, the film stars Taapsee Pannu along with Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead roles. Directed by Dasarath, this film also gave a break to him as his last decent hit was 'Santosham.' The music composed by Devi Sri Prasad became a big hit. The film stood out to be a good family entertainer with mixed reviews, although it did a good box-office number.
It has been reported that the film is an unofficial adaptation of the novel 'Naa Manasu Korindi Ninne' by Mummidi Shyamala Rani, which was published in 2010. The makers have denied the allegations and refused to contact or respond any further regarding this issue. This resulted in a copyright case, filed by the author of the novel.
Regardless of all this, the film is still celebrated by Prabhas fans. The Hindi dubbed version, uploaded on YouTube by Goldmine films has also garnered 10 Million viewership. This is the highest number than any other Prabhas film which is available on YouTube.
On the work front, Prabhas is working on an exciting film under Radha Krishna Kumar's direction.
