Macho man Prabhas is presently working on two pan-India projects namely Salaar and Adipurush. He is simultaneously shooting for both these big-budget celluloids.
Coming to the topic, Salaar, which has KGF fame, Prashanth Neel, at the helm will feature as many as 100 newcomers.
Not so long ago, team Salaar auditioned thousands of aspiring actors in Hyderabad and Chennai. Around 100 of them were roped in for the project and they will be playing supporting roles in the Prabhas starrer.
Not often do we see A-lister projects starring 100 newcomers and it appears to be that Prashanth Neel is setting a new precedent with Salaar.
Salaar is billed to be an intense action thriller and the unit had recently wrapped up a schedule at Godavarikhani, Telangana. Prabhas has allotted 60 working days for the film and he will be wrapping up his portion by May or June.
Prashanth Neel retained the core technical team of KGF duology for Salaar. Bhuvan Gowda will be handling cinematography and Ravi Barsur will compose the soundtrack. The makers recently announced that Shruthi Haasan will play Prabhas's love interest in the film.
