Actor Prakash Raj, known for his consistent performance in films, is also reputed for his humanitarian contributions. The actor has worked in almost all the prevailing major film industries. He has performed many philanthropic contributions, to give back to the society. As a part of this, he adopted a village and even protected a few forest corridors in Karnataka state.
Presently in light of the COVID-19 crisis that is crippling the economy, the PRF (Prakash Raj Foundation) is back in action. They have taken up an initiative to distribute essentials such as water bottles, glucose drinks, and biscuits to the heroes of the pandemic, namely policemen, doctors & nurses. Many gestures in the direction of providing for the poor and feeding stray cattle are being performed.
While his initiative is running in the background, the actor is residing in his guest house in a village far from the city. He recently tweeted about his whereabouts and urged his fans to #stayhome and #staysafe. In the photographs posted along with his tweet, he is relishing this time with his family. His attire makes him look like a true kissan, while enjoying sunsets and pizza. On the professional end, he is set to feature in Rajinikanth’s next film titled ‘Annaatthe’. It is a Siruthai Siva directorial, also featuring actresses including Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, and Nayanthara as female leads in the film. The film shooting was in full force, prior to the lockdown. It is set for a theatrical release in October 2020.
