Prakash Raj lands in legal trouble
Multi-talented personality Prakash Raj is all set to make his directorial debut in Hindi with Tadka, the remake of Malayalam film Ulavacharu Biriyani. Unfortunately, the actor has landed in trouble.
Reportedly, he has been sued by Essel Vision - a company belonging to Zee Groupover regarding non-payment of Rs 5.88 crore. The company has filed a legal case against Prakash Raj.
In 2016, the actor signed an agreement with Essel Vision for 60% stake of the film’s IP. But, the company has approached the Court stating that he has breached the contract.
Also, he seemed to have signed an undertaking that he will pay Rs 5.88 crore on July 15. Since Prakash Raj didn’t pay, they had approached the court for a solution.
