As a third world country, surviving a pandemic depends on the whole population and all the aristocrats and bourgeoisie are coming together contributing to how much they can to help the needy. Among the celebrities, most of them came forward with their donations and contributions. Among them, a few are still doing their bit, more than donating to the funds, but also distributing the goods. One such celebrity among the few is Pranitha Subhash. Right from the announcement of Pandemic and lockdown, she has been an active participant in helping the needy.

Pranitha Subhash has been at the forefront of various charitable activities which have provided COVID relief. She has collected funds through 'Pranitha Foundation.' Pranitha distributed 150 ration kits to the makeup artists and hairstylists of Kollywood. The stalling of film shoots because of the lockdown to tackle the novel coronavirus pandemic has robbed these people of their only source of income. Pranitha later shared pictures from this donation drive on social media. She wrote, “Gratitude to those who make us look good every day.”

Yesterday she posted a few pictures of her cooking on social media. "Can you guess what I’m making?" she questioned. While everyone replied with Luffa chutney, she posted a video explaining what she actually did. While luffa, she prepared a luffa curry and the no part of the vegetable thrown away. She called this a Zero waste cooking where every part of the vegetable is used for cooking, thereby reducing the wastage of the available source during the much needed hour.
