A new film directed by Vysakh has been announced with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the lead. The name of the film is "Khalifa." The film Khalifa is coming with the tag line "Vengance will be written in gold". The film Khalifa promises to be a high-voltage mass entertainer. Jinu V. Abraham is preparing the screenplay for the film Khalifa. The announcement of the new film comes on Prithviraj's birthday. After Pokiriraja, Khalifa is also the film where Prithviraj and Vysakh will team up.
"Reuniting with Prithvi after twelve years with a high-voltage mass entertainer We present to you 'Khalifa', who has been with us for so long. Thanks to Jinu V Abraham, who has come up with a powerful script to make this dream come true," Vysakh wrote while announcing the film.
Jinu V Abraham, Dolvin Kuriakos, Suraj Kumar, and Sarigama are producing the film. Sathyan Suryan is the DOP. Jakes Bijoy composed the music.Art direction by Shaji Nadu and editing by Shameer Mohammad.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj has a handful of excellent films lined up. They are Vilayath Buddha, Salar, Kaappa, Kaaliyan, Aadujeetvam, and Empuran. Among these, Kaappa is the film where Shaji Kailas and Prithviraj team up.
Vysakh's last film was Monster starring Mohanlal. The film will hit theatres on October 21. After the 100 crore Malayalam film Pulimurugan, this is also the film where Vaishakh and Mohanlal team up.
