Talented actress Priyamani who appeared in so many movies and shared the screen space with star heroes in the industry has been staying away from films after her wedding.

The actress has been appearing as a judge in dance shows and also played a crucial role in the Amazon Prime web series 'The Family Man', starring Manoj Bajpayee. Priyamani who is also busy with her upcoming film 'Virata Parvam' recently signed to play the female lead in the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster movie 'Asuran' remake. It has been 17 years since Priyamani has marked her debut in the industry but it seems like she hasn't played her dream role yet. While talking in an interview, Priyamani stated that she has always wanted to play a negative role like Neelambari portrayed by Ramya Krishna in Padayappa movie. Though she has worked with legendary actors like Bharathi Raja, Balu Mahendra at the starting of a career, her wish to play a negative role hasn't got fulfilled yet.
On the other hand, Priyamani is currently busy with the shooting of 'The Family Man' season 2 in which star actress Samantha Akkineni is also playing a crucial role. Priyamani said that she is going to play a different kind of role in the web series which showcases the scenes between husband and wife in a realistic way.
