Kiara Advani now needs no introduction to the Indian film audiences. Within just two years, Kiara has managed to become a star actress in both Tollywood and Bollywood. For those who are unaware, Kiara's original name is Alia Advani. She changed her name to avoid confusion with another star actress Alia Bhatt. But do you know what is the inspiration for Kiara to title herself with that particular name? It was Priyanka Chopra who inspired the Kabir Singh actress to name herself as Kiara.

 

In the 2010 film Anjaana Anjaani, Priyanka Chopra's name is Kiara. Kiara Advani loved the way how Priyanka introduces herself in the movie as, 'Hi, I'm Kiara.' Kiara Advani found it so lovely and decided that she will name her daughter as Kiara. But when she entered the film industry in 2014, Alia Bhatt was already a huge star. Then, she thought that people might get confused with her name as there is an established actress with the same name. Thus, Alia Advani renamed herself as Kiara Advani. Thus, Priyanka indirectly became a reason for Kiara's name change.

 

On the professional front, Kiara Advani was last seen in the Netflix film Guilty. This film got a mixed response from the audiences. She will be next seen in the movie Indoo Ki Jawani, which is being directed by Abir Sengupta. This film is originally slated for the release in June this year.
