Priyanka Chopra has done a lot of regional movie in her career. On National Film Awards, the actress has succeeded in getting a second national award for her movie 'Paani' on Environment Conservation.
The co-owner of the movie is her mom 'Madhu Chopra'. Paani movie is co-produced by Priyanka Chopra and Purple Pebble Productions. They strive to scout new talent for their movies together and continue to discuss subjects that emphasize the grim truth.
Priyanka wrote on social media that she was so proud to have produced a special film like Paani. She also congratulated the entire team for her second National Award. She said that big congratulation to the entire creative team for bringing this challenging and relevant film to its fruition. Her sincere gratitude to the jury for recognising her hard work and awarding #Paani with the ‘Best Feature Film on Environment Conservation'. It had given them further impetus to continue on the path of telling the stories they strongly believe in. Paani had been their humble attempt at using entertainment to bring focus to the seriousness of water crises, which is of grave concern the world over. They were so honoured that the film had an impact and that our efforts had been recognised.
At 66th National Film awards, Ayushman Khurana and Vicky Kaushal also won the best actor award. Ayushman Khurana won for the movie “Andhadhun” and Vicky won the award for the movie “Uri: The Surgical Attack".
