Puneeth Rajkumar's Production House Issues Emotional Note

Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar died on October 19 after suffering a heart attack. He breathed his last at the Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru. He was laid to rest at the Sree Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru with full state honors. After his death, Puneeth Rajkumar's production house, PRK Productions, issued a note. They wrote, "While we can't undo the past, we at PRK Productions and PRK Audio look forward to creating a bright future with great zeal and inspiration that Sri Puneeth Rajkumar embedded in us. We count on your support in making his dreams come true as we resume this journey (sic)."

In an old interview with Times of India, Puneeth Rajkumar said, "I would say it is a banner for good Kannada cinema. Good content is a clincher, but it should also be an entertainer. I don’t believe in the classifications - content-oriented, commercial, or even bridge cinema. I am looking for films that are enjoyable from start to finish. The goal is also to give a platform for talent, which could be new in the industry. A lot of them have very good scripts, which only bodes well for the Kannada film industry."
