Taking sou moto cognizance, Manisha Gulati, Chairperson of Punjab State Women Commission has written a letter to the Additional Chief Secretary, Punjab DGP and IGP to register a complaint and take necessary action against Honey Singh for using vulgarity in the song lyrics.

The women panel has asked the police to submit a status report on the matter by July 12, she said.
