Puri’s track record, a huge worry for iSmart Shankar?
It has been quite some time since director Puri Jagannadh has given s hit in his career. He has pinned his hopes on his upcoming film iSmart Shankar to redeem himself and bounce back in his career.
While the shooting is almost over, the makers are trying to seal off the theatrical business. It is said that the makers had quoted Rs 15 crore for the film’s theatrical rights across India.
However, the buyers are not willing to shell that amount and have planned to give only Rs 12 crore. This is mainly because of Puri Jagannadh’s last few films which failed to make a mark at the box office.
On the contrary, Ram Pothineni’s career has had a lot of ups and downs too. So, only an intriguing teaser could work the magic. The team is currently working on it and the film is expected to hit the theatres in late July or early August.
