Just like the Kanchana series, there is another horror-comedy series in the Tamil film industry, which enjoys a massive fan following. It is the Aranmanai series, directed by Sundar C. Aranmanai came up with two installments till now and both the films have ended up as the box office hits.
In the first part, Aranmanai featured Sundar C, Vinay, Hansika, Andrea and Laxmi Raai in the lead roles. That was a big hit at the box-office in 2014. Later, a sequel got made in 2016 with Siddharth, Hansika Motwani, Trisha and Poonam Bajwa playing the prominent roles. Even this film has minted a lot of money at the box office. Now Sundar C is planning to make the third part of this franchise.
According to the Kollywood reports, this third installment features Arya and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles. Yogi Babu and Vivekh will essay the other important characters. Apparently, the shoot will begin soon and the film is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
This is the first film in the combination of Arya and Raashi Khanna. In fact, this will be the first horror-comedy film in the career of Raashi. Though she is a couple of films old in Tamil, the actress is trying to accept various kinds of roles there. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
