Amid Coronavirus scare Radhe: India's Most Wanted Bhai has now cancelled its shooting in Azerbaijan. Previously the Salman Khan starrer film also cancelled its shooting in Thailand due to the same reasons. The members of the film crew who had already gone to Azerbaijan to prepare for the shooting have now called back.
According to the film's schedule, Salman Khan was meant to shoot for a song alongside Disha Patani. The shooting was to take place in a city called Baku in Azerbaijan. The film is now quickly looking for replacements for both the two cancelled shooting places.
Salman Khan and Disha Patani play the lead in the film. Radhe: India's Most Wanted Bhai also stars Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. The film tells the story of Radhe as he fights off criminals in his unique and typical Salman Khan way. The film is scheduled to release on May 22. Radhe: India's Most Wanted Bhai follows the trend of Salman Khan dropping a film every year during the Muslim festival of Eid.
However this time Salman Khan will face tough competition at the big screen. Radhe: India's Most Wanted Bhai is releasing on the same day as Akshay Kumar's Laxxmi Bomb and the Vin Diesel starrer Fast and the Furious 9. Akshay Kumar is playing the role of a transgender in his upcoming film.
The spread of the highly contagious Coronavirus has severely affected Bollywood among other industries. The virus which originated from Wuhan in China has now spread all over the world and has made travelling a difficult and scary ordeal.
Other major films like the Daniel Craig starrer No time to die has postponed its release date indefinitely.
