After Salman Khan spotted visiting actor and brother Sohail Khan’s office, rumours surfaced a new film on its way. Khan, who has just finished shooting for his upcoming film Dabangg 3, will soon be working with Prabhu Deva on their third collaboration together.
Mumbai Mirror has reported that Sohail Khan has registered the title India’s Most Wanted Cop- Radhe with the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA). Atul Agnihotri who produced Bharat, which was a remake of a Korean film, Ode to My Father had also purchased the rights to another Korean film titled Veteran. This was rumoured to be Salman’s next venture. However, according to this latest news, Salman will instead focus on a cop drama film that will base on a 2017 Korean film, The Outlaws.
The Outlaws follow the story of a cop who’s assigned the task of clearing up gangs in the city. If Khan’s film follows the plot closely, it will feature the superstar in a role familiar to his fans. After all, Salman Khan’s first collaboration with Prabhu Deva was the film Wanted where Khan was an undercover cop.
Not much else known about the film. It is almost certain that it will release during the Eid season next year.
