At a recent event, Lawrence says that Kamal Haasan approached him to join the team of his upcoming film Thalaivan Irukkindran. However, he couldn't take it up because he was busy shooting for Kaala Bhairava.
Thalaivan Irukkindran is a spiritual sequel to Kamal Haasan and Sivaji Ganesan's iconic film, Thevar Magan. At the music event of Kamal Haasan's Ungal Naan, veteran comedy actor Vadivelu announced that he will play his role as Esakki in the film and is excited about the film's shoot.
Lawrence found himself in soup after his speech at Rajinikanth's Darbar audio launch. He said, "Back then, everything was different. Now, when I see Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth being close friends, walking hand-in-hand, I realize that something else is bound to happen."
