Taapsee Pannu has become a care-of address for the content-oriented films these days. After going to Bollywood, she has acted in various powerful films like Pink, Mulk, and Badla. Now, she is coming up with yet another intense movie called Thappad, directed by Anubhav Sinha of Article 15 fame. This marks the second time collaboration between Taapsee and Sinha, after Mulk.

The first look poster of Thappad was out earlier today. The poster featured Taapsee in a pose of getting slapped. It is quite powerful and makes a striking impression right at first glance. Actor turned director Rahul Ravindran also fell in love with the intensity of the poster.

By sharing the poster, he tweeted, "We often take a slap for granted... most don’t even consider it a form of violence. What a powerful poster. Forces you to stare at the humiliation and the intangible impact of a slap in close up. Really brave of you." "#TrueThat Thank u so much Rahul!," replied Taapsee.

Rahul has been always vocal about women's rights and how they should get treated in society. His film Chi La Sow also features the female protagonist in a very strong role.

Coming back to Thappad, the trailer of the film will be out tomorrow and it will get released on the 28th of February.
