Rajinikanth Showers Praise On Balayya's Veera Simha Reddy

Director Gopichand Malineni recently scored his second consecutive hit this year, with Veera Simha Reddy. Featuring Balakrishna in the lead role, the film turned out to be a massive success, and gave a tough competition to Chiru's Waltair Veerayya as well. Gopichand previously delivered a grand success in the form of Krack, so he's on a roll now. The director is now on cloud nine though, as he has been appreciated by Superstar Rajinikanth.

Veera Simha Reddy features Shruti Haasan as the leading lady, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is seen as Balayya's sister in the film. Varalaxmi and Balayya's scenes have been received well by the audience. Malayalam actress Honey Rose has also been featured in a key role in the film. SS Thaman is the music director for this film, which was released for Sankranthi this year, on January 12th. Superstar Rajinikanth is an avid movie watcher, and this is public knowledge. However, it is in very rare occasions that the actor calls up someone to appreciate them on a film. On the other hand, the success meet of VRS took place recently. Director Gopichand is expected to now concentrate on his next, which is expected to be on a much less grander scale.
