On December 16, Superstar Rajinikanth went to Mumbai to launch the Hindi version of the trailer of his upcoming film, Darbar. After launching the trailer, there was a question and answer session where the media posed several questions to Superstar about his film, his stance on Citizenship Amendment Bill and others.
During the media interaction, a journalist asked if he has to work in a film belonging to a particular genre. Rajinikanth laughed it off and said that he has touched every genre in his 45-year long career with over 150 films to his credit.
But, his answer won a lot of applause from the audience. Rajinikanth revealed that he wishes to play the role of a trans person in the film. It'll be interesting to see Superstar Rajinikanth making a bold statement that promotes inclusivity in films, especially in Kollywood.
