Completing nearly a decade in Bollywood, Rajkummar Rao has come to be known as an actor to watch out for. He has loved ever since he made his debut in Love Sex Aur Dhoka in 2010. He's often seen in supporting roles, but the actor does not complain about this as he sees the films that come to him as opportunities. However, he is particular about the narrative and signs on a film only if the narrative is compelling.
In an interview with a daily, Rajkummar described himself as a greedy actor, despite knowing that he might not get the most impactful role in a film every time. So, he continues to work and tries to make the character that he plays in a film impactful. He keeps himself rooted by recalling his journey to stardom which fills him with gratitude. He is just happy to be a part of different stories and is never insecure.
However, Rajkummar did admit to having times when he has regretted doing some films even though he does not want to name them. The actor is happy with the response his role as a Gujarati businessman received in movie Made In China.. He hopes to explore the comedy genre more after this. He believes that it is difficult to make people laugh, so when the audience appreciates his performances in comedies, he feels humbled.
