Rajkummar Rao to star in the remake of Bollywood's Classic film Chupke Chupke

Looks like Bollywood is starting a new trend now. After remixing all the old classic songs, they are now remaking old classic films. Already, some of the super hit films like Pati Patni Aur Woh and Coolie No: 1 are getting remade. Now, plans are being made to remake another classic.

According to the grapevine, Bhushan Kumar of T-Series is planning to remake the 1975 Hindi film, Chupke Chupke. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore and Jaya Bachchan in the lead roles, this is a major success at the box office. Master filmmaker Hrishikesh Mukherjee was the director of this film.

Dharmendra's act as a professor is one of the best comic roles ever made in Hindi cinema. The story of the film is still relevant and thus, the makers are planning to remake it soon. Apparently, Rajkummar Rao will essay the role of Dharmendra. The rest of the lead cast is yet to get finalized.

T-Series will announce the details of the director, cast, and crew very soon. Mostly, the film will go on floors in the early next year. Rajkummar Rao was last seen in the film Made in China, which remained as an unsuccessful venture at the box office.
