Rajnikanth asks media to be more responsible

Earlier, media used as a tool to expose the truth and educate the public on the wrongdoings in the society. But these days, media has just become a propaganda tool and is becoming a care-of address for yellow journalism. Even the public has lost faith in media now and is not caring for them at all. Some section of the public is fearing on the fate of journalism as well.

Superstar Rajinikanth is one of the people who are very much concerned about the lack of ethics in today's media. Speaking at a recent event, Rajini opined that the media these days, is not reflecting the people's voice and has become a tool for political agendas. He added that the media houses are fearing to put out the truth in public, which is affecting the society a lot.

He urged all the media persons to become more courageous and speak for truth at any cost. He asked them to take Tuglaq's founder-former editor Cho Ramaswamy as an inspiration. Rajini said that Cho Ramaswamy used to be the most daring journalist in the country during his times. Let us wait and see if any media house takes Rajini's advice seriously. On the career front, Rajinikanth was last seen in the film Darbar.
