Young Tamil actress Ammu Abhirami is one of the promising talents of the industry. The 19-year-old actress made her on-screen debut with the 2017 film En Aaloda Seruppa Kanom. Later, she also acted in Karthi's Khakhi as well. But, it was the 2018 film Ratsasan which gave her the major breakthrough.
She played the role of the protagonist's niece in the movie. She reprised the same role in Ratsasan's Telugu remake Rakshasudu. That is her debut film in Tollywood. Abhirami got wide fame with her role in Rakshasudu, which also got her the second offer from the industry.
This new project got launched the other day in Hyderabad. By posting a picture from the muhurtham event, Abhirami tweeted, "After #Rakshasadu my next Telugu movie Pooja happened today at Hyderabad, Really excited to do the lead role in this upcoming wonderful movie, Details will get updated soon by the production house."
KL Damodar is bankrolling this film under Sri Ranjith Movies banner. The producer will announce more details about the film very soon. The film will hit the screens early next year. Meanwhile, Abhirami was recently seen in Dhanush's Asuran and also played a key role in Karthi's upcoming film, Thambi (Donga in Telugu).
