Rakshasudu Teaser: Promising remake

After doing a lot of regular commercial films with a good cast and lavish budgets, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas is now trying to do something different from what he did in past. In his last film ‘Sita’ we have seen him underplaying his role. Bellamkonda Srinivas is now coming up with an investigative psycho thriller ‘Rakshasudu’ which is a remake of Tamil hit film Ratsasan.

The teaser of Rakshasudu looks like it is a faithful remake of the brilliantly made original. As per the teaser, the film revolves around a psycho who is suffering from 'Anti-social personality disorder' and how Bellamkonda, a sub-inspector, deals with the case is the interesting part of the story.

It looks like director Ramesh Varma didn’t dare to do any major changes in the script, Music, visuals, dialogues and everything in the teaser is straight out of the original film. Anupama Parameswaran, who is doing regular youthful love and romantic movies, has got a mature role and she looks comfortable. Bellamkonda Srinivas looks perfectly fit for the cop role and going by the teaser, he seems to have pulled off the role with decent body language hope he emotes the expressions as well.

It may not excite the people who had seen Ratsasan but will surely grab the attention of those who haven't seen the original. Ghibran's background score is a huge value addition to the movie. Produced by Havish, Satyanarayana Koneru and released by Abhishek Nama on Abhishek Pictures, Rakshasudu is all set for July 18.
