Aadi Pinisetty, who made a lasting impression with his intense portrayal as Vairam Dhanush in Allu Arjun-starrer Sarrainodu, is bracing up to entice the audience in yet another villainous avatar. Buzz is that Aadi has been approached to play the main antagonist in Ram Pothineni's upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual film tentatively titled Ustaad.
Sources say Lingusamy felt that Aadi would bring the much-needed versatility to the part of an antagonist and have initiated talks with him. The team is expected to finalize the deal soon and is planning to make a formal announcement.
Initially, the makers have considered Arun Vijay for the part, but the actor turned down the offer. Directed by Lingusamy, the film known as RAPO 19, is currently underway at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, RAPO 19 went on floors on July 12. The film features Uppena-girl Kriti Shetty as the female lead. It also stars Madhavan and Nadhiya in supporting roles. After wrapping up this 15-day schedule, the team will shift to Visakhapatnam for the next schedule.
Recently, director Shankar has dropped in on the sets of RAPO 19. Besides interacting with the team, the Robo director has also watched the rushes of the film and was all praise for the cast and crew.
