Ramya Krishnan's web series 'Queen' web series is already out after clearing multiple controversies. Initially, there were cases on the project that it should not get released but finally, it streams on MX Player now. At the same time, the cases came on Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi movie as well.
We already know that Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa has filed a petition in High Court asking to stall the releases.
After investigating further, the Madras High Court has finally refused to postpone the releases. Before that, director Gautham Vasudev Menon who helmed 'Queen' web series submitted a no reference certificate to Deepa claiming that the story is no way connected to the life of Jayalalithaa and they have invested nearly 25 crores on making the web series.
Also, on behalf of director A L Vijay, a claim was also submitted to Deepa. They claimed that the movie has no intention to degrade or humiliate Jayalalithaa who is an inspiring leader for the upcoming generations. They also added that the movie's narrative is based on the book Thalaivi and hence named the same too.
