Rana Daggubati is best known for his versatile choices of films. He never shies away from doing negative and supporting roles, if he likes the story. He is the only star kid in Tollywood to choose this different path. This change didn't come in the midway of his career as Rana proved to be different right from his first film, Leader. It has been 10 years for that film's release.
Unlike the other heroes, Rana didn't go for a commercial film and opted to do a political drama like Leader as his debut. Directed by Shekhar Kammula, this film was a success at the box office and also proved how talented Rana is. Then, Rana did films like Nenu Naa Rakshasi, Naa Ishtam and soon entered into Bollywood with Dum Maro Dum.
Since then, Rana started juggling with Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film. He has acted in Hindi films like Baby, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Housefull 4. He acted in Tamil films like Bangalore Natkaal and Arrambamm. Baahubali changed his career and made him a pan-Indian hero. Later, he scored another pan-Indian success with Ghazi. Now, Rana is coming up with his new tri-lingual film Haathi Mere Saathi. The actor is hoping to score yet another success with it. On the whole, Rana pushed his boundaries and became a nationwide star in his decade-old career.
