Rana Daggubati is playing the role of a Naxalite in director Venu Udugula’s upcoming film Virata Parvam 1992. At present, scenes involving Sai Pallavi
are being shot in Warangal.
Last month, Rana Daggubati
headed to the US to get a kidney transplant done. His surgery was performed by a nephrologist and he is currently recuperating. While he has gathered strength to roam inside the country, his doctors have advised him not to travel to India until they see him fit.
So, Rana Daggubati is keeping the makers of Virata Parvam in confusion. Reportedly, they have planned a long schedule with him in September second week. Since he couldn’t come, the schedule has been canceled.
The makers are at a position that they wouldn’t be able to proceed further as the film is about the love story between a Naxalite and a folk singer. Now, the director is waiting for Rana’s update on his arrival at Hyderabad.
